The charity sector often referred to as the 'third sector', 'voluntary sector', 'not-for-profit sector', 'community sector' or 'civic sector', is huge in the UK. The sector employs over 1.3m, has over 7m volunteers and almost 1m Trustees. The sector is quickly shifting, adapting, changing, and it can feel hard to keep up. Charities are finally settling, thinking about the future, working out digital strategies, and broadly setting their sights on the long-term. To make the right decisions for the future, it’s essential to understand the present. David R. Blackburn Consulting have quickly established themselves as the go to guide for navigating these challenges with clients like English Heritage, Mencap and Positive East.
Leaders in many different industries are well-aware of how critical employee engagement is for a company's success. Engaging employees is not a natural skill, however. David R. Blackburn is also a sort after Motivational Keynote Speaker in his own right and has spoken at events across the UK and Europe.
